You can transfer Chase Ultimate Rewards points to Aeroplan with a 30% bonus for a limited time — but some cardholders can get an extra 10% bonus

Chase Ultimate Rewards® points are one of the most valuable travel rewards currencies you can get. That’s because you can transfer them to airline and hotel loyalty programs such as United Airlines, Southwest, and Hyatt for (nearly) free flights and hotels.

One of the most popular Chase transfer partners is Air Canada Aeroplan. With Aeroplan points, you can travel on dozens of airlines to get just about anywhere on Earth. And from November 1 to November 30, 2022, you’ll get a 30% bonus when transferring Chase points to Aeroplan.

There’s also a trick to get an extra 10% bonus on top of this 30% transfer offer by stacking deals. Here’s what you need to know.

New 30% bonus when transferring Chase points to Aeroplan

For the month of November, you can transfer Chase Ultimate Rewards points to Aeroplan and receive a 30% bonus (a 1:1.3 transfer ratio):

Here are a few fun things you can do with Aeroplan points:

Fly to Europe on United Airlines in lie-flat business class for 60,000 points each way. Fly to New Zealand on Air New Zealand in lie-flat business class for 75,000 points each way. Fly to Hawaii in on United Airlines in coach from the West Coast for 25,000 points each way.Fly short-haul United Airlines around the US for as little as 6,000 points each way.

Get an extra 10% transfer bonus with the Chase Aeroplan Card

This 30% bonus offer stacks with a previously announced promotion exclusively for those with the Aeroplan® Credit Card. Through December 31, 2023, cardholders will get a 10% bonus when transferring Chase Ultimate Rewards points to Aeroplan. There are a few key details you need to know, however:

You must transfer at least 50,000 points in a single transaction to qualify for the bonus.You’re capped at 25,000 bonus points per calendar year from this promotion. In other words, you can earn a max of 50,000 bonus points.The bonus points won’t instantly appear in your Aeroplan account — but they will show up within seven days.

If you satisfy the requirements of this promotion, it’ll be automatically combined with the 30% Aeroplan transfer bonus promotion, giving you a whopping 40% bonus when transferring Chase points.

How to earn Chase points in a hurry

You can earn Chase Ultimate Rewards points quickly by opening one of the best Chase credit cards and earning their bonuses. For example, the Chase Sapphire Preferred® Card offers Chase Sapphire Preferred® Card. And the Chase Sapphire Reserve® is offering Chase Sapphire Reserve® for a limited time.

Also, both the Ink Business Cash® Credit Card and Ink Business Unlimited® Credit Card come with the highest bonuses they’ve ever offered: Ink Business Cash® Credit Card. That’s 15,000 points higher than the previous offer.

And if you take advantage of this additional 10% bonus (again, Aeroplan® Credit Card holders must transfer at least 50,000 Chase points to Aeroplan to qualify), your Chase points are effectively worth 2.1 cents per point, based on Insider’s valuations.
