There was still one last resource. One of the EMTs brought out a defibrillator and tried to restart Angela’s heart. For a few seconds, that seemed to work. But then her heart stopped again.
They tried a second time, and the same thing happened. They tried a third time, but Angela’s heart stopped again. Everyone was almost ready to give up.
