Verizon offers student discounts on select mobile and internet plans.
Signing up is as easy as verifying your enrollment and choosing a plan.
Students can get the discount for up to four years until they graduate.
There are plenty of ways for students to save money with exclusive discounts intended just for them. From school supplies to streaming services, many companies pitch in to offer eligible college students lower pricing to make studying a bit more affordable.
Verizon is one of these companies, and it provides verified students special discounts for the duration of their enrollment. If you’re a student in need of a new cell service or internet provider, you could save up to $25 a month when signing up for Verizon’s Unlimited mobile and Fios Internet plans.
How much is Verizon’s student discount?
Verizon offers two major discounts for eligible students:
Up to $25 off every month on Unlimited mobile plansUp to $10 off every month on Fios Internet plans
The exact discount you’ll get depends on what you sign up for. With Unlimited mobile plans, students can save $10/month with one line, or $25/month with two lines on 5G Do More, 5G Play More, and 5G Get More plans.
For Fios Internet, students can get up to $10/month off when combined with 5G Unlimited plans.
How to sign up for a Verizon student discount
Signing up for Verizon’s student discount only takes a few steps:

Who qualifies for Verizon’s student discount?
To qualify for Verizon’s student discount, you’ll need to be actively enrolled in an accredited institution of higher education, like a college or university. You’ll be asked to verify your enrollment status every 12 months.
How long does the Verizon student discount last?
Verizon’s discounted student pricing lasts for a maximum of four years until you graduate.
Those four years don’t have to be consecutive, though. If you take a year off of school, you can drop out of student pricing and hop back in later, as long as your total four years haven’t been spent yet.
How does Verizon verify student enrollment?
Verizon uses Unidays, a popular student discount verification program, to help verify your enrollment status. It does so by verifying your school email address or by having you log into your school’s online portal. In addition to that, it may ask for the following information:
