The best way to kick off a new season with practically a brand new cast is of course to have Peyton Manning (Miles Teller) and Eli Manning (Andrew Dismukes) give a play-by-play of the season premiere’s cold open.
The duo self-awarely pokes fun at the usual tropes of Saturday Night Lives cold opens from the past few years including Trump being Trump and impersonations of politicians no one likes or knows. “The show’s in a rebuilding year for sure,” Peyton says.

It’s a strong start to what many hope to be an even more solid season. Hopefully, the Manningcast decides to come back again because Miles Teller makes for a disturbingly good Peyton Manning.
