Many parents of children with Down syndrome lament their children’s early experiences with teachers and other staff members. It appears that beliefs occasionally need to be changed, even among adults.

It is possible for children with Down syndrome to experience learning difficulties. Even children without the condition, though, perform well at different levels. The same is true for children who have Down syndrome, yet these youngsters are frequently stereotyped as being intellectually challenged.
