Streitwise, RealtyMogul, and DiversyFund are all competitive choices for real estate investing. All platforms give you access to assets like REITs, but each company’s fees, minimum requirements, and available investments varies.
If you’re solely focused on passive REIT investing, Streitwise and DiversyFund could be suitable options. While both only offer one REIT, DiversyFund has lower fees. However, Streitwise offers a wider range of account types, and it also supports non-US traders.
Like Streitwise, RealtyMogul also has a $5,000 requirement, but it offers lower fees and access to investments like single properties and 1031 private placements.
Ways to invest with Streitwise
Self-directed investing
Streitwise offers one equity REIT that contains one commercial property in St. Louis, Missouri, and a commercial property in Indianapolis, Indiana. This REIT is available to both accredited and non-accredited investors in any country, and it has a target dividend/return of 8-9%.
Note that Streitwise requires you to purchase a minimum of 500 shares to partake in the offer. Since it’s current share price is $10.15, you’ll need at least $5,075 to begin. And as for its account types, it supports individual and joint accounts, trusts, company/institutional accounts, and IRAs.
Some real estate investing platforms require you to hold your shares for at least five years, but you can sell your shares after one year, thanks to Streitwise’s share redemption program. Plus, you can also automate dividend reinvesting by signing up for its Dividend Reinvestment Program.
When it comes to funding, Streitwise accepts multiple payment methods, including cryptocurrencies like bitcoin and ethereum. It only accepts ACH transfers for US bank accounts, but all customers can use wire transfers.
Self-directed IRAs
Streitwise also lets its users invest in its REIT through SDIRAs (SDIRAs also offer a traditional and Roth option, but they differ from regular IRAs because they allow you to hold alternative investments like real estate, precious metals, cryptocurrencies, and other assets).
Plus, if you have a 401(k), you can rollover its funds into an SDIRA to invest. There is another option, though, if you don’t want to rollover your 401(k). You may be able to invest directly through your 401(k), but you’ll need to connect your provider with Streitwise to see if it’s possible to do so.
The 2% fees also apply to its IRA offerings, but you may also incur fees from your IRA’s custodian.

Is Streitwise trustworthy?
Streitwise currently has an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau. Ratings range from A+ to F, so this indicates that — according to the BBB’s standards — the investment platform interacts exceptionally well with its customers.
The bureau analyzes several factors when reviewing businesses. These include type of business, time in business, customer complaint history, licensing and government actions, and advertising issues. However, the BBB’s ratings don’t ensure that a company will be reliable or perform well, so it’s equally important to do your own due diligence.
Streitwise’s record appears to be clear of any major scandals or lawsuits. Additionally, its BBB profile shows that it hasn’t received any complaints.
