“Handing out the bowls of food was the best part of it all,” a smiling Amanda shared while recalling the moment. “Most people think of those animals as menaces.”
“I see them as loving creatures without homes. They need our love too.” Amanda ensured each bowl was filled as the dogs and cats came, ate, and left. It was then that she remembered what had happened the previous day.
