Steam Deck Dock reservations are now available

Valve is now letting you make a reservation for its official Steam Deck Docking Station. The dock will cost $89. When I made my reservation just a few minutes after reservations opened up, I was given an expected order window between October and December. One of my colleagues is having less luck — they’ve been stuck on a “loading” message.

Valve’s official dock is intended to make it easier to hook up the handheld gaming PC to a monitor or television. It has three USB-A 3.1 Gen 1 ports, a gigabit ethernet port, a DisplayPort 1.4 port, and an HDMI 2.0 port.
