As Alice could observe, Andrew’s mood didn’t improve. She asked him about it again, but he kept brushing things off. However, Alice could tell that something was wrong.
But she didn’t press the issue. She knew Andrew preferred to deal with things by himself, and might feel pressured if Alice kept bringing it up. Still, she was resolved to call the principal again soon to check in with her. But before she could do that, something else happened.
