Each year, Oppo hosts a special event where it debuts new technologies that might eventually make it to market.
Called Inno Day, it traditionally showcases a number of innovations, including the likes of super fast wired and wireless charging, new smartwatches, concept phones and AR smart glasses.
Last year, Inno Day brought us the launch of Oppo’s first foldable, the impressive Find N, as well as the brand’s first self-developed image processor, MariSilicon X.
When does the Oppo Inno Day 2022 live stream start?
The next Oppo Inno Day keynote will take place on Wednesday 14 December 2022. It’s being streamed from Shenzen in China and will kick off at 16:00 local time. Last year’s event ran for approximately 90 minutes, so we expect the same this time.

What to expect?
We know that this year’s theme is “empowering a better future” but we’re not exactly sure what that entails. Oppo said it will showcase the brand’s “commitment to openness and inclusivity as it seeks to create more possibilities through smarter connected experiences.”
Rumours are pointing toward Oppo’s next-generation foldable phone being unveiled this year, there have also been some leaks surrounding the Find X6 Pro, but it might be too early for that one.
Given the heavy focus on the MariSilicon X NPU last year, we might expect further developments in Oppo’s in-house image processing.
In 2020 we saw an interesting sliding concept device, it would be amazing to see that finally coming to market, but we’re not holding our breath.
