Polls close in the state at 6 p.m. local time. Given the state has multiple timezones, the first polls close at 6 p.m. EST and the last polls close at 7 p.m. EST.
Kentucky’s six congressional seats are up for reelection this cycle, as is Republican US Sen. Rand Paul.

The state is also the site of what’s sure to be a closely-watched referendum on abortion with Amendment 2, which if passed would establish that Kentuckians do not have a right to an abortion. Beyond that, the cities of Louisville and Lexington will also elect mayors.
