Instant Omni vs. Ninja Foodi air fryer oven deals: Both are on sale, but one’s more of a steal

SAVE UP TO 35%: As of Dec. 1, both the Instant Omni 7-in-1 Air Fryer Toaster Oven Combo and Ninja Foodi 10-in-1 XL Pro Air Fry Oven are 35% and 30% off at Amazon, respectively.

Pressure cookers aren’t the only market where Instant Brands and Ninja have beef.

The two combo gadget experts also make air frying ovens that aim to cover just as many cooking functions as the multi cookers do — just with slightly different menus. Two happen to be on sale days after the end of Cyber Monday (going by the calendar, at least): Save 35% and get the Instant Omni 7-in-1 Air Fryer Toaster Oven Combo for $129 or save 30% and get the Ninja Foodi 10-in-1 XL Pro Air Fry Oven for $229.99.

The Instant Omni is the better deal based on sheer discount percentage, and it’s the only option of the two that’s officially at an all-time-low price at Amazon. But does that $100-ish price difference mean much in bang-for-your-buck terms? Let’s compare the models.

In title alone, you’ll notice that the Instant Omni 7-in-1 covers seven cooking functions while the Ninja Foodi 10-in-1 covers 10. But the difference in capabilities of these two ovens isn’t as stark as the titles (or prices) make it seem. Both are air fryers and convection ovens and can also broil, bake, roast, toast, and warm. The Foodi’s main advantage is the ability to dehydrate, if you’re into jerky or peach rings. Otherwise, its other functions come from separating roasting into “whole roasting” and “air roasting” (a negligible difference in how the hot air is circulated) and specifying a reheat option for pizza.

Size wise, both ovens can fit a 12-inch pizza, six slices of bread, or a whole five-pound chicken. The capacity of both comes in around 18 liters.

We’re team Instant Omni on this one, but you can take your pick:
