What is the Platinum Camo in MW2?
The Platinum Camo in MW2 is a full platinum camoflage.
It’s one of 4 completionist camos in the game.
The other 3 are Gold, Polyatomic, and Orion.
The Platinum Camo Challenge is available for every weapon class including assault rifles, SMGs, and more.
How to unlock Platinum Camo in Modern Warfare 2
To unlock the Platinum Camo in Modern Warfare 2, you need to complete all Gold Challenges for a specific weapon class (e.g. Assault Rifles).
After you’ve completed all Gold Challenges for a specific weapon class, you’ll unlock the Platinum Challenge for that class (e.g. get 25 longshot eliminations for a specific weapon).
Here is the full process to unlock it:
Complete all 4 Base Camo Challenges for a specific weapon (e.g. M4) to unlock the Gold Camo Challenge for it.
Get 3 eliminations without dying 10 times for a specific weapon (e.g. M4) to unlock the Gold Camo for it.
Repeat the first two steps and complete all Gold Camo Challenges for a specific weapon class (e.g. Assault Rifles).
Complete the Platinum Challenge for a specific weapon (e.g. get 25 longshot eliminations with a specific weapon) to unlock the Platinum Camo for it.
A Gold Camo Challenge can be unlocked by completing all 4 Base Camo Challenges for a specific weapon (e.g. M4).
When you’ve unlocked the Gold Camo for every assault rifle in the game, you’ll unlock the Platinum Camo Challenge for all assault rifles.
The Platinum Camo Challenge is to get 25 longshot eliminations for a specific weapon.
After you’ve got 25 longshot eliminations, you’ll unlock the Platinum Camo for that weapon.
