To open the poison gate in The Plains in God of War Ragnarok, you need to shoot 3 sigil arrows at the right side of the gate.
After you’ve shot 3 sigil arrows at the gate, an enlarged Hex Bubble will be formed, and you need to throw the Leviathan Axe at it.

Throw the Leviathan Axe at the Hex Bubble to freeze the poison.
