To fix “The application encountered an unrecoverable error” in FIFA 23, you need to launch Origin/EA as an administrator.
You can also try disabling real-time protection in your antivirus, uninstalling EA Anticheat, or enabling secure boot on your PC.
Launch Origin/EA as an administrator.Disable real-time protection in your antivirus.Uninstall EA Anticheat (from the game files) > launch Origin/EA as an administrator > launch FIFA 23 > Anticheat will be automatically reinstalled.Enable secure boot on your PC (Restart your PC > press the BIOS key > Boot Options > Secure Boot > Enable).
For Windows 11, right-click the Origin/EA app > Run as administrator.
For Windows 10, right-click the Origin/EA app > More > Run as administrator.
