To achieve this, any asset and sound will have a presence in the Avatar Shop.
Hence, their roadmap has the ability to add sounds by getting them directly from the creators and licensors.
Similar to customizing your clothing, you will also be able to customize sounds for your avatar.
The “oof” sound from Roblox was also removed due to a licensing issue.
Roblox have replaced it with a default death sound which many users are complaining about.
They plan to expand their Avatar Shop with a wide range of old and new sounds in the future.
The tweet has a bunch of replies saying that they hate the new death sound.
Here’s a reply by @TerraneRBLX, “People are gonna despise you for removing the “oof” sound”.
That said, other users were satisfied that Roblox was transparent about the change.

Download the old Roblox death sound (download link 1 | download link 2).Search for “%appdata%” in the Windows search bar.Click on “AppData” from the URL field.Open the “Local” folder.Open the “Roblox” folder.Open the “Versions” folder.Open any versions folder.Open the “content” folder.Open the “sounds” folder.Delete the current “ouch” sound”.Copy and paste the old Roblox death sound (that you’ve downloaded from the first step).
If you have issues with the sound not playing after replacing it, try these:
Replace the sound in every version folder until you get the right one.Make sure the name is “ouch”, and the file type is .OGG.
