How to Auto Battle in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet
To auto battle in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, you need to choose your starter Pokemon and you’ll have access to the feature immediately.
To use it, press the “R” button on your controller and your Pokemon will automatically pick up items and battle nearby wild Pokemon.
Here’s how to do this:
Choose your starter Pokemon.
Press the “R” button on your controller to auto-battle.
While you have the feature enabled, you can move around independently.
If you stray too far away, your Pokemon will automatically go back to its Pokeball.
If your Pokemon is close to fainting, it will not engage in auto battle until you heal it.
Do note that if you use the auto-battle feature, your Pokemon won’t be able to evolve or learn moves.
If you want to evolve a Pokemon, it’s highly recommended that you disable the feature and battle your Pokemon manually.
