We can all agree that Ellen Degeneres and Portia de Rossi are couple goals. The two met at a social gathering in 2000, the start of their 20-year friendship. Same-sex relationships were still considered taboo back then, but the pair have been together for 15 of those 20 years.

They had been dating for a year before they came out in 2005. Once the same-sex marriage ban was lifted, they got married in 2008. There have often been divorce rumors, but Ellen quickly shuts those down, saying that they aren’t true.
