Elon Musk sent a letter to Twitter Tuesday saying he now has more reasons for why he believes he can legitimately abandon his $44 billion proposal to buy the company, Bloomberg reports.
Musk cited the recent whistleblower disclosure from former head of Twitter cybersecurity Peiter Zatko, also known by his hacker name “Mudge.”

Zatko filed a wide-ranging whistleblower complaint against Twitter in July which became public last week.
Previously Musk’s argument for getting out of his deal with Twitter rested on a claim that the platform had more bots on it than the company had disclosed.
