“I had the attached overskirt custom-made by a seamstress in Dubai, as I wanted a more dramatic train for the ceremony,” Jefferies says.
The tulle skirt framed the dress, showing off the lace but also adding a fuller look. But it wasn’t easy to realize her vision. “Making the skirt was a bit of a painful process,” she admits.
