Brodie learned everything he knew about fishing from his uncle. He helped set up Brodie’s rod and proudly watched as Brodie began to improve steadily. Brodie hadn’t caught much fish so far, so Ben was pleasantly surprised when Brodie’s rod began to bend before his did.
But his pride for Brodie quickly turned to worry when he saw what was on the other end of Brodie’s line.
