The great Niagara Falls is an amalgamation of three waterfalls. Among them is American Falls. But what many don’t know is the hidden truth behind these breathtaking natural features.
Some of them are eroding themselves. The thunderous waters are strong enough to sweep rocks and boulders downstream, collecting them at the bottom of the falls. Piled up, they are called a talus and can go as high as halfway up the waterfall’s cliff.
