After an exhausting fourth season, Hulu’s The Handmaid’s Tale is back for a fifth outing. And it looks like the girlbosses are heading for a showdown.
June (Elisabeth Moss) deals with the aftermath of killing Commander Waterford (Joseph Fiennes) by going head-to-head with his wife Serena Joy (Yvonne Strahovski). In a chilling voiceover, she declares, “I want her to know that it was me.” Very Olenna Tyrell of her. As June continues her revolutionary leader arc, Serena works to bring Gilead’s influence to Canada. Who will win? Will June reunite with her daughter? And most importantly, how much more of this show can we endure?
