We expect to see big pet deals on Amazon Prime Day 2022, running July 12 and 13, and some excellent early deals are already live. Prime Day is one of the best times to shop for pet products, outside of Black Friday and Cyber Monday. But, keep in mind, Amazon is reportedly planning a “Prime Fall Deal Event” for later this year too.
During Prime, some of the best deals can be found on automatic pet feeders, pet cameras, litter boxes, dog DNA test kits, and pet vacuums. Discounts on dog food, cat food, and flea and tick medicine are also common. Retailers like Chewy, Walmart, and Target often price-match for their competing Prime Day sales, but you can save even more on products like pet food and treats by signing up for Amazon’s Subscribe and Save. Frontline Plus for Dogs is one of our top picks for dog flea prevention. It kills adult fleas, flea eggs, flea larvae, ticks, and chewing lice on contact. While this isn’t the best deal we’ve ever seen on flea medication, it’s $10 less than what you’ll typically pay. Be sure that you’re only purchasing medication sold and shipped by Amazon to avoid counterfeits.
Frontline Plus for Cats and Kittens (3 Treatments)

Frontline Plus is our favorite topical flea and tick preventive for cats, and it’s available without a prescription. You’ll save $5 off the average price with this deal, so now is a good time to stock up. A word of caution: Be sure it says “Ships from and sold by Amazon” before checking out — this will ensure you do not get counterfeit medication.
Casper Dog Bed

This durable, hybrid-foam bed is one of our picks in our guide to the best dog beds. Casper is known for its mattresses (for humans), and the dog bed is made of supportive memory foam. The bed is available in three sizes. We only saw the small bed go for this low price back in March — it’s usually priced between $120 and $140.

We tried Petsafe’s 2-Gallon Drinkwell Fountain and found our pets loved it. This smaller model is suitable for a single-pet household. It provides a continuous flow of filtered water for your cat or dog. While this isn’t the lowest price we’ve ever seen, it’s typically been priced $10 higher for the last 12 months.
Moico Pooper Scooper

When we tested the Moico Pooper Scooper, we found that it did the best job of scooping up all types of poop on all surfaces. The rake and spade clip to the bin and it’s easy to clean. While it goes on sale from time to time, this is the best deal we’ve seen since April.
Petsafe Cozy Up Folding Dog Stairs

Whether you want to give your pet easy access to the sofa or your bed, Petsafe’s sturdy yet collapsible design is a good bet. These stairs are 20 inches high and cannot be adjusted, so be sure to measure your furniture. Over the last year, these have usually sold for $50, and this price is the lowest we ever see — the last time being Black Friday 2021.

If you’re looking for a pet fountain with visual appeal, Petsafe’s Drinkwell Pagoda Fountain is it. The sculpted fountain is available in four different colors: blue, red, brown, and white. Like the brand’s classic Drinkwell Fountain, it provides a source of continuous filtered water for your pet. The fountain has been going for its retail price since February, so this is a solid deal to score now.
