This year, Black Friday is November 25, though deals are dropping all month long. Black Friday sales have started the week of Thanksgiving and will continue until Cyber Monday, November 28.

We’ve tested over a dozen blenders, and Vitamix is consistently at the top of our list. The Vitamix 5200 blender is our top choice for basic smoothies, gravies, flours, and nut butters. It’s easy to clean and durable — we haven’t broken one yet. All Vitamix blenders have steady, high-powered motors and ingeniously designed jars.
What features should you look out for when buying a Vitamix during Black Friday?
Consider how often and for what tasks you intend to use your blender. For the occasional smoothie or frozen cocktail, you don’t need something high-powered like the Vitamix 5200. A smaller blender with a lower wattage will do the trick. However, if you’re planning on making nut butter or a daily protein smoothie, a stronger motor will work faster and last longer.
