Amazon gift card

One deal I always take advantage of during these big deal days is opportunity for “free money.” Amazon has several gift card deals running where if you spend $50, you’ll get a $10 kickback in Amazon credit. You have to use the code NEWGC2022 at checkout, but it’s a simple way to essentially get 20% off your next Amazon purchase. —Lauren Savoie, deputy editor

Embark Dog DNA Test Kit

My partner and I recently adopted a 10-month-old puppy from a shelter and we’ve been really curious about his breed. The shelter said he was part Great Dane, but we expected him to be a lot larger by now. We’re planning to pick up this DNA test while it’s on sale to settle the question once and for all. This version also offers tons of health insights that should help us care for our new best friend. —Steven Cohen, senior editor

Revlon One-Step Volumizer Original 1.0 Hair Dryer and Hot Air Brush

I actually already had a Revlon One-Step I bought two Prime Days ago, but I recently went to Europe and didn’t know I needed a voltage converter so my baby got fried :(. This Prime Day, my first order of business was finding a replacement because it’s been a complete hair (and life) changer. —Julia Pugachevsky, editor

Olaplex Hair Perfector No. 3

As someone who bleaches and dyes their hair a lot, my hair could use some help. I’ve heard great things about the Olaplex No. 3 Hair Treatment. At this price, it’s hard to say no to healthier, smoother hair. —Sarah Saril, reporter

Orolay Women’s Crop Zip Puffer Coat

I’ve been on the hunt for what I call a “medium winter coat,” or a puffer that’s warmer than a fall jacket but lighter than a parka. This puffer from the internet-famous Orolay fits the bill, it’s versatile and trendy while being just warm enough. Note that select colors and sizes are still on sale. —Emily Hein, associate editor

Waterpik Aquarius Water Flosser

My dad asked me to keep an eye out for a deal on a Waterpik and, lo and behold, this awesome sale popped up. This is the lowest price we’ve seen on a Waterpik since 2020, so I went ahead and snagged one to have shipped to my dad. —Lauren Savoie, deputy editor

Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask

I finally gave in after seeing this lip mask go on sale during Amazon’s first Prime Day of the year and kicking myself for not buying it. Thankfully, it was discounted again for the Prime Early Access Sale. Now that the weather is getting colder and dryer, I’m excited to swap out my usual routine of Blistex before bed with something that will probably work a lot better! —Sally Kaplan, executive editor

‘Korean Vegan’ by Joanne Lee Molinaro

There are few things that excite me more than a new cookbook and Amazon’s Prime Day has been filled with some stellar cookbook deals. I admit I added way too many to my cart before whittling it down to one to buy as a Prime Day treat: Korean Vegan. While I’m not vegan, I’ve heard great things about Molinaro’s book and love an opportunity to eat more vegetables in a tasty way. —Lauren Savoie, deputy editor

hum by Colgate Smart Battery Toothbrush Kit

I’ve used a regular old toothbrush my whole life, but when I went to the dentist a few months ago, I was told that I’ve been brushing too hard. They recommended I get an electric toothbrush to avoid that issue. Well, when I saw this was on sale during the Prime Early Access Sale, I figured it was time to take my dentist’s advice. Wish me luck! —James Brains, reporter

Amazon Echo Glow

I’ve been wanting a sunrise alarm clock for a while but I couldn’t justify spending a ton of money on it. My house is already outfitted with smart lights, smart plugs, and Amazon Echos in almost every room (you can’t say “Alexa” anywhere in my house without getting a response). When I saw this Echo go on sale, I figured it was time to upgrade my bedroom Echo Dot from 2018, but this time with the added bonus of a sunrise light function. —Elle Marshall, Story Production Fellow

Logitech G604 Lightspeed Wireless Gaming Mouse

I love Logitech’s gaming mice, and if I hadn’t just bought the Lightspeed G305 in a cute lavender color, I would jump on this one. It features 15 programmable controls and an ergonomic design that I think would really come in handy when PC gaming. At this price, it’s a steal. —Sarah Saril, reporter

Colorfulkoala High Waisted Joggers with Pockets

A friend of mine recently got me onto ClassPass and I’m in serious need of comfortable workout clothes. If I didn’t already own a wide mouth Hydro Flask, I’d absolutely take advantage of this deal. This particular model comes with the straw lid, making it an especially good deal at 30% off. —Emily Hein, associate editor

Laneige Lip Glowy Balm

Before bed I love putting on a lip balm; it’s the part of my routine that makes me feel the most glamorous. I got my current lip balm as a freebie at Sephora, but it retails for a whopping $25 dollars. Now that this Laneige Lip Balm is below $15 I’ll have to snag it. —Elena Matarazzo, associate editor

belif The True Cream Aqua Bomb

My favorite moisturizer of all time is on sale for Prime Day and I normally have to wait until a Sephora sale to stock up. I just ran out of my last one and as someone with eczema, I need to stay on top of my dryness. This formula is a lightweight gel that packs a punch of hydration and I recommend it to all of my friends regardless of their skin type because it’s never irritating. —Maiya Pascouche, Associate Story Producer
