Shocking moment takeaway customer STABBED in chest during broad daylight attack sparked ‘over £4 cheeseburger’

THIS is the shocking moment a takeaway customer was stabbed in the chest in broad daylight – allegedly during a dispute over a £4 cheeseburger.

Footage shows a man wearing a white t-shirt and grey leggings charging out of a city centre takeaway doorway in Doncaster, South Yorkshire.

The pair got into a scuffle in front of shocked onlookers

One man was seen waving a knife at the other

The incident was believed to be over a £4 cheeseburger

He is holding a pink plastic chair, which initially he appears to be using as a makeshift shield.

The man then hurls the plastic chair at the knifeman, who then repeatedly slashes at him.

The attacker appears to land half a dozen blows with the blade as the victim backs up against a parked car, holding his arms out to defend himself.

The knifeman’s friends then appear to intervene to calm him down and lead him away.

They also lead the injured man to the side of the street where he slumps down with his back against a shop doorway.

Shoppers are seen walking past, barely glancing at what is happening and the man who filmed the attack ends the footage saying: “F—ck it. I am off in pub for a pint.”

Two men were later arrested after cops were called to Scot Lane in Doncaster at 4.40pm on Thursday after stunned bystanders raised the alarm.

Posts on social media claimed the violence flared following an argument over a £4 cheeseburger.

Passerby Lee Stevens said: “From what I’ve gathered, some lad went into the takeaway for food.

“Something kicked off. He threw a chair at someone and then he got stabbed. I came out of the pub just after he got stabbed.”

Other people who were there claimed the row had broken out over a £4 cheeseburger.

Mr Stevens, who was hailed a hero on social media for having saved the victim’s life, added: “The guy that got stabbed is in Sheffield Hospital and is fine.

“I did my best to make sure he didn’t bleed out. He’s okay.”
